Well this winter has been one crazy winter. I've lived in Idaho since 1996 and I don't remember EVER having this much snow! It's been awful. We had snow, like, twice a week for several weeks and the roads were terrifying and it was just really stressful, for me anyway. Anyway, two weeks ago it snowed a LOT and after an entire season of nearly constant snow, I finally decided to take some pics. This one of Mattie is my favorite.

Then there's the two of them on at our apartment. We were getting ready to go to Grandma's and Grandpa's for Grandpa's birthday. Matt didn't have his gloves on so I told him not to touch the snow. He gets really upset when his hands are cold. But he just couldn't resist; that snow looked so yummy. He loves to eat it. Even if there's dirt in it. Yeah, I shouldn't admit that, huh?

I had been trying to get Mattie to take a nap all day and to no avail. Of course he did on the way to Grandma's. This picture is through the car window, in case there was any doubt. I left him in the car for like an hour. Don't worry, it was a warm day and the car was very warm and he was very bundled. I love him.
And here's what Anna did while he was sleeping: Snow angels and played in a soon-to-be igloo! Oh and in the first one, she was actually on her knees with her face in the snow, eating it like a cat! So funny. These pictures are set up a little weird... sorry.

And that was our snow day!

Mom and Dad's yard is great for playing in the snow. Or anything else, really. Did that igloo ever get finished?
no
