Couples

In Safeway, arguing
About cornflakes.
At the park on the corner
Chasing their ten
Lovely
Kids
On bikes. With a dog.
At church, holding hands,
Whispering something naughty
In the presence of God
Happy couples everywhere
And I'm the only one alone.
